In 1970 he immigrated to British Columbia, Canada, where he learned the building trade, operated a successful construction company, and managed his family’s commercial real estate investment business. In the late 1980s Gerald was called to Spartanburg, SC to assist with the expansion of the North-American Division of a world-renowned textile and carpet printing machinery manufacturer. He served there as VP of customer service and manufacturing until 2006 when he started his own real estate investment business, specializing in reconditioning and land development.
